It's always good politics to appeal to the 90% while blaming the 10% but look at other things going on.

Gas prices dropping a bit as we take a million barrels per day from the strategic petroleum reserve. This is expected to continue until election day. Is this a a coincidence?

When Obama took over student loans he said the government would earn more than $100 billion in interest income. It turns out he was off by $300 billion. The government will lose $200 billion as Biden has extended the moratorium on interest. He's likely to extend that further by the end of the month, and also possibly try to buy some more votes by forgiving more principal. He has already forgiven more than $30 billion of principal.

Natural gas prices were $3.20 per million btu when Biden took office. Today that number has TRIPLED to $9.60. People in the south have seen their rates skyrocket in the hot summer months but what the heck, most are republicans. Fortunately for democrats the heating season doesn't kick in until after the election. I fully expect democrats to propose some sort of relief this winter when people in blue states see their heating bills double this winter.

It's not so much that they're good at politics as much as they are accomplished liars and cheaters. The latest is the the clearly corrupted 2020 Census.

In a shocking report, the U.S. Census Bureau recently admitted that it overcounted the populations of eight states and undercounted the populations of six states in the 2020 census.

All but one of the states overcounted is a blue state, and all but one of the undercounted states is red.

Those costly errors will distort congressional representation and the Electoral College
. It means that when the Census Bureau reapportioned the House of Representatives, Florida was cheated out of two additional seats it should have gotten; Texas missed out on another seat; Minnesota and Rhode Island each kept a representative they shouldn’t have; and Colorado was awarded a new member of the House it didn’t deserve.

These harmful errors also mean billions in federal funds will be misallocated. Funding for many federal programs is distributed to the states based on population. Overcounted states will now receive a larger share of federal funds than they are entitled to, at the expense of the undercounted states.

The Census Bureau has not explained how it got the 2020 census so wrong. This is particularly troublesome because the bureau reported an error rate of 0.01% in the 2010 census—an overcount of only 36,000 people, a statistically insignificant mistake.

The 2020 errors were discovered through the “2020 Post-Enumeration Survey.”

After each census, the bureau interviews a large number of households across the country and then compares the interview answers with the original census responses. The 2020 survey showed that the bureau overcounted the population in Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Utah. The largest mistake was in President Joe Biden’s home state of Delaware, which was overcounted by 5.45%.

The states whose populations were undercounted were Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas. The largest error in the undercount was in Arkansas, where the population count was off by 5.04%.

The original census reported that Florida needed only 171,500 more residents to gain another congressional seat. Yet the survey shows that Florida was undercounted by over three-quarters of a million people. The bureau also said that Texas needed only 189,000 more people to gain another congressional seat. The survey shows that Texas was undercounted by 560,319 residents.

Minnesota, according to the original census report, would have lost a congressional seat
during reapportionment if it had 26 fewer residents; the survey shows the state was overcounted by 216,971 individuals. Similarly, Rhode Island would have lost a seat if the Census Bureau had counted 19,000 fewer residents. It turns out that the state was overcounted by more than 55,000 individuals.

The Associated Press quoted John Marion of Common Cause in Rhode Island admitting that the state would benefit from this mistake, including “more representation in Congress.”

Unfortunately, the federal statutes governing the census and apportionment provide no remedy to correct this problem. And it would be very difficult to devise an acceptable remedy this far after the fact.

The census is geared to providing a count of the population on one specific date, in this case April 1, 2020. A remedy that involved ordering the Census Bureau to conduct another actual recount in the 14 affected states—a complex, expensive undertaking—would provide numbers on a different date than the original census, whose population totals would still be in effect for the rest of the states. This would raise fundamental fairness issues, given the high mobility of our population.

The concept of conducting a new census of the entire nation also seems impractical.

One thing, however, must be done. Congress needs to use its oversight authority to investigate and determine why these errors happened, particularly since they didn’t occur in the 2010 census. Lawmakers should then make the changes necessary to ensure this does not happen again.

Excuse me, but who was in charge of the Federal government in 2020 and in charge of the census? Donald Trump and the Republican Party. If the census was poorly administered, it is Donny's fault.

why is it everything that happened during trump's 4 years was his fault, but when inflation hit 9.1% "there was nothing the president could do"? comeon, man.
I guess the outbreak of polio is Biden's fault?

The US Census Bureau is part of the Federal Government. Trump interfered bigly in the census, even ending the count before career civil servants wanted. Like every other agency, Trump politicized it.

Every President, correctly and incorrectly, gets the blame or credit for what happens during his administration. This is not new to Donald Trump. Trump just happens to have a very thin skin when it comes to any sort of criticism.

And none of that oil has made it to the gas tanks of Americans. Just the Chinese.
That's actually irrelevant. Oil is a global commodity. The price would not be any different if the reserves were held here in the US. We simply wouldn't import that equivalent amount, but that equivalent amount that we weren't importing would now be going to someone else. Pretty much a zero sum game (global oil supply to global demand)

Dims are TERRIBLE at politics. They would get absolutely thrashed if they couldn’t collude with MSM, Big Tech, Hollywood, and Academia.

If they had to rely on the strength of their policies alone, their party would die. They’d literally have to change their name and re-brand.

I don’t apologize for or defend anyone. I call ‘‘em like I see ‘em. The Republican Party has become a party of election deniers and conspiracy theorists. They’ve been anti reality.
The Republican Party must stop apologizing for Donald Trump and select a leader who isn’t a clown and isn’t anti democratic and at least tacitly follows the rules.
Marjorie Taylor Greene just called for defunding the FBI. That’s a well thought out campaign issue.

You most certainly do apologize and totally neglect recognizing and holding those self serving elitist politicians on the left (Democrats) accountable for bad and questionable behavior on way more actual evidence than Trump ever displayed, I might add. Additionally, your dishonesty when it comes to your visceral hated for Trump and to a lesser extent other Republicans has no bounds and that’s breathtakingly clear. The shear hypocrisy, blindness, and hatred you demonstrate is breathtaking and erodes any credibility you may have had for fairness and honesty.

The Democrat Party has displayed over the years the ability and willingness to cheat and corrupt our election process at all levels and yet you have the audacity to say that the Republican Party has become the party of election deniers and conspiracy theorists. Stacy Abrams, Al Gore, Crooked Hillary, and so many other “anti-reality” Democrat scum say hi.

You talk about Trump and Republicans not following the rules, when the Democrats constantly try to cheat, weaponize the government, and dishonestly deceive the voters at every turn with their MSM accomplices running interference for them and lying, distorting, and omitting facts on a breathtaking scale for nothing more than cheap political advantage. It’s not only much more dishonest and underhanded than anything Trump and the Republicans have done, but it’s also much more substantive in terms of creating the poor and deteriorating quality of peoples lives. Things have become so dishonest and pathetic that even Democrats are fleeing the corrupt and disgusting Democrat Party and the “shit holes” Democrat run infested states and cities around the country. Democrats have destroyed everything they touched.

And to call Trump a “clown” but accept and enable the incompetence and stupidity of Biden and his dismal track record of complete and utter failure at everything in government is beyond “rich”. And then the 🤡 (Creepy Joe) and his 🤡 party (Democrat Party) have the brass balls and audacity to come on TV and actually try to tell people that they shouldn’t believe their lying eyes about the reality of hell they are living and experiencing first hand.

And then you have the balls to criticize MTG for calling to defund a “weaponized and discredited” FBI comprised at the top levels with highly partisan political establishment hacks that have totally ruined and created such breathtaking distrust in a once premier government law enforcement agency. All this while completely ignoring the wide spread and disgusting Democrat movement to defund, handicap, and discredit the police, ICE, and border patrol from merely doing their job and protecting the citizens of this country.

Now that’s hypocrisy at a level that’s quite remarkable.

while I might not agree with everything psuted said, I will admit, that I, like more than a few americans, have lost confidence in FBI leadership. I would have thought there would be a purge of the politically motivated senior agents after the Russia collusion and FISA warrant episodes, but to now have it come out that an agent hid/sat on/downplayed the Biden laptop investigation really raises questions about whats really going on in that agency. And if, in fact, it is true that the agents conducting the raid at MAL were led by the same agents who were involved in the Russia collusion debacle, that will raise even more questions.

All this while completely ignoring the wide spread and disgusting Democrat movement to defund, handicap, and discredit the police, ICE, and border patrol from merely doing their job and protecting the citizens of this country.

Now that’s hypocrisy at a level that’s quite remarkable.
What a bunch of manure.
Al Gore is an election cheater/denier? In 2000 Gore lost Florida and the election by a few hundred votes after haggling about hanging chads and whether individual votes were punched through enough To be counted. Gore was the sitting VP, conceded defeat after the SC ruled and presided over the counting of electoral votes , a ceremony that Trump tried to disrupt. Later that year Bush presided over 911, the single largest foreign policy failure in our history.
Stacy Abrams complained about losing the Governors race when her opponent, Brian Kemp, the sitting Georgia Secretary of State, in a monumental conflict of interest oversaw the election and disqualified many votes in heavy African American communities.
I could go on, but I won’t.

You couldn’t go on and on as you have nothing but pure horse manure to spew. Both Al Gore and Stacy Abrams were and are election deniers and conspiracy theorists. There were plenty of other Democrats in this category as well. It’s fine when they do it but not when Trump does it despite having many actual reasons to do so.

while I might not agree with everything psuted said, I will admit, that I, like more than a few americans, have lost confidence in FBI leadership.
Junior, it’s fine that you may disagree with me on some things, but I’m just sick and tired of the intellectual dishonesty, double standard, and down right hypocrisy of Jason and others on the left. And I stand by my assertions.

Democrats like Jason may be a decent guy, but they are so filled with political hate that they have absolutely no ability to self reflect on they things the say and do and they are quick to embellish absolute nonsense and distort the truth in support of their political agenda and despite facts to the contrary.
