Nice article from the Philly inquirer about the 10 greatest PSU running backs.

Led by a picture of Curt Warner. Looks real good.
It was not to long ago his weight was way up like over 300lbs.

I'd put Ki-Jana Carter higher than #7. In some 1994 games he hardly played in the second half. Had he played full games he'd have easily had 2,000 yards and a Heisman Trophy.

I never knew he'd gotten heavy - never thought of him as the type. The pic is 7 years old.

Yeah, I never knew Curt was over 300 !?
I would have put Royster somewhere in the top seven. He doesn't get a lot of recognition, maybe because he wasn't particularly flashy. His numbers argue otherwise.

From what I heard and in a few pictures I saw his weight problem was evident in the early part of this century

Agree that Carter should be much higher. I have no problem with Warner at #1, but KiJana should only be a hair behind him. Also agree that once Barkley's career is done, he may very well be at the top.
