Connor Pierce to the good guys

Is he a depth piece or someone with the potential to crack the lineup at some point?

Somewhere in-between -- probably ends up as depth at PSU but would start at a lot of other schools, and might crack the lineup here.

Was hoping we'd get him. 4x state placer (S7-S7-S4-S2). Generally scores a lot. This year was undefeated until facing Crookham in the finals, and made Crookham work.

He has beaten a number of state qualifiers -- most notably state champ Briar Priest, who wrestled at Dapper Dan and will start at Pitt. But has also been beaten convincingly by Arrington, Chletsos, and Chappell.

Wrestled JR level at Fargo, DNP at both FS and GR. Went 5-2 at Super 32, DNP in one of the 2750-head brackets.

He's not beating out Bartlett or Van Ness, and probably doesn't stand in the way of Kasak. But we need guys like him.

Connor is an interesting kid. Clearly not a typical blue chipper, but he is one of those kids that could surprise. He's been improving at a faster pace than kids ranked above him. He has a high motor. And he loves wrestling, and that's really important. I'd love to see him earn a scholly some day. And he's a Harborcreek Husky.
