CDC is so corrupt and callous with respect to human life that it still doesn't know if one healthy child in the US has died of Covid.

Based on German numbers, there are essentially zero childhood deaths from Covid.

HAHAHAHA---yet people want to vaccinate them. I still stand by what I've said for a long time, The only reason(other then money) to vaccinate kids is to make the vaccines seem more effective then what they are. Think about it, if you can add 75 million people with no chance of dying its completely skews your numbers. And not just no chance of dying almost no chance of getting sick.
The UK found that basically zero healthy kids died of covid, either.
These last four years have destroyed any semblance of confidence I've had in the US Govt. I knew govt was corrupt and needed oversight and control. I suspected the media was complicit but felt it was a balance that, directionally, got it right. But I never dreamed healthcare was totally corrupted. I did think that science and universities were tainted due to receiving federal funding but thought that they had a thread of conscience. Today, I believe we are 100% on our own.
It's bad, as a gun guy I've seen how part of it is corrupted if one party is in control .

Agreed. Does "reorg" do anything about blatant lying regarding the origin, the efficacy of drugs, use a masks, "with" and "of", virus effect by age of those infected, etc, etc, etc.

IMO this was a case of government officials thinking they had to do "something" even though they didn't know what. When their actions failed they doubled down rather than admit defeat.
I am OK with that in the first six months. After the first six months they allowed people to suffer for political reasons. I am NOT ok with that. In other cases, that would be like someone killing another because they ran a red light while changing the stations on the car radio. That is called criminal negligence and can also reach up to manslaughter.
If they made decisions for any reason other than the health of the majority of people, they are criminally negligent.
There is the old story where a new boss enters the office and sees three envelopes. One says open me first and when she opens it is says "blame the predecessor". Which she does, gets credit for the improvement, and is very happy. the biz cycle changes and things worsen. She opens the second envelope labeled "when in need". She opens it and the note inside simply says "reorg". So she reorgs and the cycle takes an upswing and everyone is happy. Then the cycle turns down again. So she walks into her office, closes the door, sits down, and opens the third and last evelope. She opens it and takes out the note and it simply says "begin by preparing three envelopes...">
It wasn't even six months. By May 2020 we knew it was just an airborne virus that largely affected the old and frail.
One month? It would take years to go through all the corruption there as no one there will cooperate.
Agreed...and when you couple the CDC with the Steele Dossier, Hillary's server, two impeachments, Russia!, Ukraine!, various COVID issues, CCP/Wuhan coverup and Biden's laptop you can see that the USA is as corrupt as any nation on the planet. We let thousands of people die because "Orange Man Bad". That is really the bottom line.
Up until Biden, CDC & FDA had some semblance of integrity and competence. One of the "signature" accomplishments of Biden is totally destroying the CDC & FDA. They don't have a shred of credibility left. Walensky is an evil person solely dedicated to enhancing the grifting and power grabbing abilities of the Democratic party.

A lot of this started under Trump. He went along with Fauci and the CDC. So he doesn't get off either. But it is clear that biden doubled down once he took over.

Trump deferred to the CDC and the FDA for the first four or five months. At that point in time they had reasonable reputations and Trump had no choice. CDC made a colossal error In screwing up the test to detect covid. Trump didn't encourage massive lying by the CDC or the FDA. Walensky doesn't even feel the need to hide her obvious lies, like the claim that masks could prevent 80% of covid transmissions. Trump was mostly hands off with respect to the science aspects of the CDC and FDA. Biden and Walensky have gone full fraud on the science.

The CDC does a lot of great things. But the CDC director has turned into a political mouthpiece during covid. Why would they be doing a major reorg if everything was going great?

I can't believe anyone supports the CDC, Fauci, or Walensky. Europe has been light years ahead of us on natural immunity and treatments. This was all due to politics, not science. The withholding of information and ridiculous policies have done tremendous harm. Policy is still to have masks on in airplanes. Why? Because it's the very last place Biden has any power over Covid. Like NY City and 2-4 year olds having to wear masks. It's nonsense not based in science.
