It wasn’t my sign, he really did kill someone’s mom. Most NY residents know that Cuomo killed these elderly patients, with terrible foresight and planning. It was his name on the order. If Trump issued this order, you would have lost your mind.

If Trump had done his job, there wouldn’t be 130,000 dead and climbing with a spiraling economy and mass unemployment. Lulz. Keep filling your pocket Doc because that’s really all that matters to you.

Wasn't Cuomo following federal (Trump) guidelines, just like 14 other states were doing?

Nope. CMS in mid March gave guidance that transfers to SNFs would only be allowed if the facility could guarantee transmission-based precautions. And, they left it to local departments of health to confirm those capabilities, and garner specific implementation of policies pursuant to a that locality’s situation, PPE availability, etc. Which, Cuomo never did. There are huge differences in SNF capabilities and isolation infrastructure across the country. Local control of these policies was the prudent thing to do.

    That's a total B.S. article.

Start with the fact that the CDC effed up. That's true but 90% of them are the same people who worked there under Obama. Would you really expect any president to know more than the WHO, CDC, and NIH?

Then they say the administration did nothing for months. That's a flat out lie. Trump hosted 5 private sector companies in the white house within a week of the CDC's failure. He declared a national health emergency a whole month before the first case of a person with no exposure to the virus through international travel. Trump was widely criticized by democrats for shutting down international travel. Five weeks later Cuomo, Pelosi, and Fauci were saying no problem, go about your lives as usual.

When it comes to supplies, it was the Obama administration that left the cupboards bare. It was also the Obama administration that said nothing as critical manufacturing was shipped overseas. It was Biden who said that China is no competition for us.

It's amazing how often I am forced to defend Trump. There are a lot of things he does that I disagree with but I can't sit by quietly when you guys continually make shyt up.

One of them wasn't a nursing home death. They rushed her inlaw to the emergency room and they died in the hospital. So it was a hospital death, not a nursing home death.

He's still responsible for his death, as they rushed him FROM the same nursing home to the emergency room. Regardless of the tricks to get it re-classified.

Gestalt. 15 years of clinical practice to gauge very quickly the seriousness of someone’s presentation. Diction, tone, insight, logic. I can diagnose many patients as they walk to the exam room. In this case, your collective posts demonstrate an underlying subtle anxiety disorder mixed with emotionally labile tendencies.

Wut? Look at all the helpful pronouncements Trump has made! He told us everyone could get a test if they wanted one, that disinfectant should be ingested in order to get rid of the Virus, that 99% of people are completely unharmed by the virus, that the federal stockpile of masks is "his," that now is the time to open up (and get rid of Obamacare), and that he's "not responsible" for addressing the Coronavirus. Seems like excellent leadership to me.

    Pretty much true

That disinfectant should be ingested in order to get rid of the Virus
    He didn't say that

That 99% of people are completely unharmed by the virus
99% of people have been unharmed by the virus

That the federal stockpile of masks is "his"
I don't recall that but it is definitely true that Obama didn't leave a stockpile. It's also true that Cuomo was advised to buy ventilators but went against that advice in order to save money. Trump didn't correct that during his first 3 years but blaming Trump for not fixing Obama's negligence is pretty lame.

It's definitely something to take seriously but applauding 32,000 deaths while criticizing 2 700 deaths is beyond stupid.
