Damn, you beat me to it. If I had just posted the clip instead of watching it first I could have beat you.
I thought it was Al Gore for a minute but realized it couldn’t be because I am on the internet and he invented it so if he dies it would be gone right?
Gore Tex is the last thing I want in the rain or cold.
No matter what brand or piece of gear I’ve purchased with it, it has never worked and usually ends up being less comfortable.
Gore Tex comes in a couple of different quality grades. I have found Gore Tex Pro gear to be pretty good, but I tend to agree with you that there are better options out there.
While I never met him, my old man was friends with Bob for awhile. Dad always said he was a good dude and had really interesting concepts of how build a company. For example they believed in operating multiple offices with clear objectives and had an ideal number of employees per location. Once the objective changed or they reached the maximum number of employees they would find another location and build the group from scratch. Kind of how Amish communities work.
