An altered state
Hack seemed much better, perhaps because he felt more confident in the scheming. He hit the short passes instead of throwing at receiver's shoelaces. Moved around better. Made quick decisions and throws. And all of that in a steady rain when everyone thought they would try to run it down their throats.

I don't know who made all the changes. Coach said he would be 'more involved' but it seemed like a total overhaul. Did they allow Hack to have more input into the scheme? Ask him what he felt would work best? Or was Temple's D so good that none of that woulda worked?

It still took some time to get the O moving but it was definitely improved from the get go. Now defenses have to play more honest and not stack the box and be blitz crazy. Still work to do but a huge improvement. If they keep improving, it may evolve into a good offense.
