He would start in 2018 if he was already on campus. He will be a 2 time all conference safety for us.
After reading the following article from May 15th, I'm guessing this commitment is going to really piss off the Pitt board (which I've never visited)... Is it my imagination or is Narduzzi copying Franklin's recruit greeting practice?

Brisker commits to PSU. Chris Peak can now take down that "hometown hero" story on the Pitt site.

I saw that "Hometown Hero" tweet by Peak, dated 16 May. It seems they thought he was a Pitt lock. A day later, he commits to PSU. LMFAO right now.
Apparently the staff viewed him as being right behind Harrison and Smith in terms of importance and impact.
What is this "intercepting" thing he does?

A bit of a surprise. PSU only recruited one safety last year (Humphries) but they also only have one senior (Scott). I would have expected Franklin to stick with 4 year players,
Will Brisker play this fall or wait until 2019? 2020 is when PSU could have a problem at safety because Monroe, Petrishen, and Taylore graduate after 2019.
He’ll be here next summer and will play in 2019 and 2020.
We’ll also likely have Rudolph, Kelly and Wilson and maybe Cine in the safety mix in 2019 and 2020 - though all are athletic enough to potentially be corners, too.

I also assume that he doesn't count against this year's scholarship numbers since he won't be here until next summer.
Nice! That film is excellent. This is one bad dude and exactly what an immediate contributor looks like. I know there's still somewhat of a stigma around here about juco kids, but we needed this one.
A few years ago, we were in on Kyzir White. Boy would he have looked good back there next to Marcus Allen. This kid is every bit as good at this stage. This is a game changer for our back end in '19 and '20. It's easy to see and believe that the coaches valued him right there at the top of the list, given the foreseeable opportunity at safety.
And if anyone hasn't learned to pay full attention when Campbell posts about players, you should.

You’re right - he won’t count this year, and will arrive on campus with the rest of the 2019 commits who aren’t early enrollees.
Well, if Pitt was recruiting him then the Lair will no doubt call this kid a traitor and wish him the worst since he is from a Pittsburgh suburb. They feel that every western Pa kid owes Pitt something. That board is insanely entitled.

You can be sure that Pitt didn't want him, didn't need him and never heard of him. They only recruit 3 stars from Florida and Texas now......because they are really like 4 stars. They don't want 5 stars, cause they are not high draft choices and don't start on Super Bowl winning teams.The Lair is busy slobbering over the prospects of a prime time game (been awhile) when they are predicting a multi score beat down of the Nits by Heisman lock Kenny Football. Keep in mind that the only difference between PSU and SPitt football is PSU's easy schedule.
I read somewhere that he had academic issues coming out of high school, which is why he went JUCO. Apparently/hopefully he got his academics in order. I'm not sure how highly rated he was for his football talent coming out of HS.
