....raises an interesting question, has the league defined how CCG participants will be determined? Are they going to use the CFP Rankings to determine participants? In an 18-team league with this many top teams there is a high likelihood of tied conference records....

There will be tiebreakers and they will be announced in advance of the season. Obviously head to head amongst tied teams will be part of it but it will be somewhat convoluted.
The ACC and PAC-12 already have tiebreakers in place for this season without divisions and without everyone playing each other so we could probably look at them to get an idea
