I agree, it was tongue-in-cheek.

As for generational talent, it's all relative.

McDonough was their last multiple-time NCAA Champ in 2012.

If they choose to define a decade as a generation and compare him to all other Hawk wrestlers over that span, then yes, he's a generational Hawkeye talent.

Who else have they got to for their hypothetical matches competed on paper during the off-season? :)

I think this is part of their self-reinforced assumption/projection that everyone who leaves PSU (or isn't generally associated with PSU at the time) hates PSU and Cael as much as they do.

That Teske somehow exacted revenge on PSU with that win.

Sorry to change the subject but I have lost all respect for 82Bordeaux and his food opinions.

While in Detroit, WexfordWarrior procured seats for us that included an all you can eat buffet. I put on 8 pounds in 3 days. My blood sugar hit 363. My fork at one time overheated.

Every plate I had I would ask Bordeaux who was nearby if he liked that respective dish; the answer was no every single time. The dude eats like a bird. I now side with Willie.

Bordeaux does know his alcohol!! Food not so much!



As to Jesus stalling a couple pages back, I don't blame him. He was coached that way. God rested on the 7th day.

And eating like a bird is a comparative analysis. I was sitting next to you, one of the all-time greats!

Real question, who is this ironbird? Is he an actual Iowa alum? Was he a actual wrestler for the gawks? Does he have dementia or just drunk/high all the time? Is he married and his wife is in hiding from abuse? Are Iowa moderators so afriad of him they allow his BS?

You guys are gluttons. Maybe the entertainment value is high, not sure. Reading the posts of a few people (on HR) from a pretty solid overall fan base implode when the real fun is talking about our guys isn't all that appealing. Or is it? 😇
 
“I’m a sh*tty poster because you showed up and made me angry” is the default position for people like Ironbird over there.

Not the way we would have handled it.

They don’t like it when we talk about our guys over there. But they do like to talk about Cael. And we like to talk about Cael. So there is some common ground.

Besides, many of us grew up on the Less Filling vs. Tastes Great debates. There is comfort in familiarity. 😉
