Edsell can't convert a couple tree tops...in again and can't convert. LengthyBlood time. Down 3-1 after 2... Escapes, but over a minute of riding time, down 3-2. Missed a TD, but Edsell losing 5-3 after it and an escape and falls 6-3.
Bo down 4-2 but on top in 2nd looking tough...can't convert though and gives up escape. Down 5-2 after 2... After about a min BOp escapes, 5-3... goes for broke but can't get a TD, and loses the match.

Even IF Prata is not really good on top (which he is), Heinselman's best position is neutral and you need points - a lot of them - instead of wasting time on bottom. SMH...

Teske wins 5-4 for 3rd, struggled on bottom but got a reversal and hung tough to hold on.

That's probably the best win that our trio of 125s have put up. Not bad.

I liked Brode’s tournament!
Takes 3rd (4-1) with a pin and a major and he had to grind out a tough win against Michigan in his last match. He lost to the champ, but fought hard and had some controversy on a no TD call in the match...also rode him pretty well for awhile. He looked confident and loose! Needs work on bottom, but most freshmen do...

Verk wins 3-2. Knew exactly what to do when Gardner got in a shot. Most importantly, both healthy walking off the mat.
