Last week it seemed my computer (i5, 8gb memory, SSD) started timing our on simple web sites such as this. Ended up going for an upgrade to my FIOS hardware believing it may be the router, but it was Chrome all along. The Verizon tech recommended Firefox and sure enough that cured it.
I guess I should move on and not look back at Chrome. I uninstalled Chrome an re-installed before the hardware upgrade but it had no affect. Tech said that unless you remove Chrome totally from the computer it can re-install with the same issues.
Anyone have experience with this issue?
