Bad OL play with a pinch of bad play calling & a dash of QB making bad decisions is a recipe for disaster
It's just like the announcer said... The whole offense was run within 8 yards of the LOS.
The same plays over and over again. Paterno's offense was never this predictable. And that's saying something.
Pro QB and you couldn't even attempt ONE play longer than 15 yards from LOS.

If you can't stop the blitz, you better have a QB who can scramble. We can't and we don't.
Maybe a QB draw, maybe a rollout, maybe a screen pass to a RB. Something to keep the defense off balance. Franklin didn't even try.
And then there's the TE's. We do have some of them, right?
We did try several RB screens. Each time, it was absolutely destroyed in the backfield.
Maybe we are not a good football team...
