Kerk's trajectory is inevitable. 2 years ago is a throw away due to health, it was close to a miracle he could compete at all in the tourneys.
Last year you could see his growth throughout the year. The only man to give Gable a challenge.
There is no other way to color it, a brain fart cost him the nationals match vs Cassi in the closing 2 seconds.
This year he is just plain dominant.
One opportunity for improvement that remains, is he needs to wrestle through the clock, whether it be easing up, gassing a bit or simply not understanding where he is near the end of a period, I have to admit there is a pattern where nearly all of the points Kerk surrenders are in the final 20 second of a period dating back to last season.
Much like RBY's journey with ADS, I don't see Kerk losing to Cassi ever again. To be honest, despite his demonstrated success, I think Parris presents the biggest challenge pre-nationals.
Kerk is poised to run the table this year.
