Enforcement of a national border is through private businesses. If those businesses did not hire these people, they would not come.

Of course there are some glaring flaws in this. Those who would come to the country to cause harm -- agents of drug lords and terrorists seeking to destroy America -- do not come to seek employment. They get funded through any number of backdoor methods.

The country is undoubtedly now loaded with these people, and there will be no way to find and weed them out. I will be surprised if we do not see something really nasty like 911 or worse.

No country does this to their citizenry. We are in the midst of a communist takeover folks. @PaoliLion and @rumble_lion are just two of their naive soldiers. The communists will turn the middle class into peasants and they won't care about anyone's safety or standard of living. Another 911 event will be just another excuse for more control and loss of freedoms.

No, if our federal government really represented its people and cared about the well being of its citizens, they would "faithfully execute" the laws of the United States and secure the border. Vote all Democrats out. It's the only way.

You are the lunatic. There are many nationalities mixed in with the Mexicans. Your ilk would be willing to sacrifice national security for cheap labor and a voting block for socialism.

If you want to help the Mexican people, you can send them money, and/or go visit them -- just like you can do with people from other countries.

If the Mexican people want to come here, they can follow the same process that citizens of other countries follow.

Sadly, the D party has intentionally created chaos.

Sadly, the D party has intentionally created chaos.

Judging from his posts, @PaoliLion is an agent of chaos. He promotes anarchy while at the same time advocating for some sort of "make-it-up-as-we-go" government control. This month we need the government to take over oil companies. Next month it might be food producers. Of course this is only good if his party has control.

Should Republicans take back control @PaoliLion will be advocating for freedom from government tyranny, even as that government deregulates and cuts spending.

Libs want open borders because they want as many "victims" as possible they can buy off with promises of free stuff. If you oppose you're a hateful racist person.

That's pretty much all they've got because they can't defend their position any other way. They claim that illegals add to our economy which is laughable. They intentionally confuse illegal immigration with illegal immigration.

This is why they always leave out the word "illegal" and substitute the word "undocumented," as if it is just someone who forgot their papers, or someone in our government who is behind in generating documents for them.

It's futile to try and talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.

While I agree, there also has to be money involved. Who are the people with money that want open borders and are contributing to the DNC? How much cartel money is making its way to the DNC? The cartels own the Mexican government, and they now control our border.

I guess the Soc/Dems have never heard of the concept of legal immigration. A situation where we as a nation control our borders and intercept any attempts to infiltrate the country with illegal immigrants, gangs, terrorist, drugs, etc AND at the same time allow qualified and needed workers to come into the country.

These people truly have no common sense. and are as stupid as dog sh!t. "if it weren't for American businesses hiring these people, there wouldn't be an illegal immigrant problem", so why try to stop them from coming over open borders? That's Dem leadership on a crucial issue for you....they just .shrug their shoulders and admit they can't do the job that needs doing...

Yesterday, they argued if a lot (even most) of the fentanyl coming into the country is through ports of entry, "why bother worrying about all the killer doses coming over the open border"? "After all, these druggies who are dying of the stuff brought this on through their own weakness in resisting drugs anyhow". Wow, the party of compassion and feelz needs a long trip to the spa and better start bathing in patchouli oil so they can get back to their roots.

In both cases, the idea seems to be, "it's happening anyhow, so no big deal, let's just let it happen", That's the Dem plan for the future of the country....... after all, any other approach would bee racist, I guess......wtf....

You’re 100% right. He said he fears hispanics ruining the neighborhood. It’s an irrational fear/phobia. The Republican Party is very good at whipping these people into a frenzy and getting them to vote Republican, despite the fact that Republican leadership is in the pockets of the business community and is never going to seriously do anything about illegal immigration. The perfect candidate is someone like Trump, who comes-up with a so-called silver bullet (a ”big beautiful wall”) that’s not actually going to do shit to slow illegal immigrants.

This is too funny.

You say I fear illegal hispanics but you actually fear legal Republicans in your neighborhood. You wrote the perfect description of what happens when people move to your street who are not a good fit with the residents of that street. Republicans emigrated to Paoli's liberal nirvana. How does that make you feel?

This is what you wrote in the other thread. You are clearly myopic living way up there in the Pacific Northwest. What would you know? You have probably never been to Texas much less lived there, and you certainly have no experience dealing with our illegal alien problem.

I own a few rental houses - in one of the neighborhoods, there are a lot of immigrants with multiple families. You know has really hurt the neighborhood though is a degenerate Republican family that moved in. They probably have 4-5 cars/trucks parked in the street, all of them junkers. Their yard is a mess and their loud as F. They probably knocked $100K off the value of my property.

When someone talks about communism in this context, you immediately know that they’re an out-of-date baby boomer, who thinks Red Dawn should have won best picture.

Frankly, the Republicans are the closest thing to communists in this country

The problem with you, and the point I was making, is about ENFORCEMENT. You seem unwilling to state that enforcement should be at the border. You want to deal with the problem through businesses that hire illegals.

I would say it should be both. There should only be a small problem within the interior. But truth is we have the opposite problem, because this administration has decided to ignore its Oath of Office.

No, communism is authoritarianism with socialism. The Democratic Party has been governing through Executive Orders -- dictates. It is spending money we don't have and handing it out (socialism). One of the most telling things is the alignment of the Democrats with Communist China. They have yet to even mention the "China Virus" in their rhetoric. They are beholden to the communists. In fact the whole green energy initiative makes America dependent on Communist China.

None of that is characteristic of the Republican Party. China was thrilled to get rid of Trump. He was a thorn in their side. The Biden Family is even taking money from China.

You have it totally backwards.

I really don’t need to have a conversation about communism because it’s essentially been dead for several decades. China is quite capitalistic, as is Russia. In fact, both countries are very very similar to the Republican Party - they strongly favor oligarchic capitalism.

You’re about 30 years out of date

Enforcement at the border won't solve the problem. I don't push it because it won't work. You push it because the republican party is owned by the same corporations that want the cheap reliable illegal immigrant labor. They want everyone to spend time and effort on the solutions that won't cut back their cheap labor.

Most of the illegal immigrants in this country passed through border legally with a work visa. When the visa expired they stayed.

You want to deal with the problem through businesses that hire illegals.

Yeah, because that will work.
