Wrestling: Penn State adds world-class recruit in Aaron Brooks

A three-time state champ from North Hagerstown, Md., Aaron Brooks projects at 174 or 184 for PSU. He plans to spend a year at the OTC after his senior year. Brooks is also a three-time freestyle national champ and won Cadet Worlds in September, competing in Athens, Greece

Yes... those once in a generation types.... that remind me a lot of Retherford, Nolf, Cenzo, Hall & Nickal... add in a Lee and you wonder how could DT & Ruth be replicated if they were once in a generation? Penn State is making generational gaps narrow bands of time... from this year to the next.

Yep, it's inevitable. There are reports we may only have 4 national champs this year. From there, who knows how far we slide. I already have my Prozac prescription filled.

Hasn't Cael made several trips to Erie for practice and I kind of remember him visiting a kid in the area that is rehabbing or something.

We know he was on the sideline for one of the PSU football games (IIRC Michigan beatdown). And we know Cael made a trip to Erie later in the fall. IDK much more than that ... but that's plenty to put him on the radar.
