If you read the comments, 8 of 9 agree that Williams has a problem.
The other was of the opinion it was not on his watch and occurred elsewhere, so it is not a big deal.

I'll make a wild guess and say that Fina has assurances that the authorities are not going to come after him, and Kane can't. He's pretty much bulletproof unless public opinion drives him out.
Seems clear to me, though, that Kane has more shit on him than just these emails. Someone as arrogant as him doesn't care that much about that kind of stuff. There's got to be more in the closet that Kane has, that really worries him.

I always say that what they are really ticked off about is this: He said under oath that he did not have sex with a woman.
