Wow. Just realized my oldest is in the class of 2024. Makin’ me feel old...
My youngest is a year ahead of this kid. What should that make me feel?
Can I just say how much it blows my mind that there are 9th graders walking around that are 6'6" and nearly 300 lbs. I couldn't even imagine being a 9th grader and seeing a guy like this on the football field.
FWIW, due to the pandemic St. John's College HS did not play football this past fall. So Jordan is a freshman who just played his first high school football game this past Saturday. Despite all that, he's well known by college coaches, and quite a few colleges have established relationships with him.
How many 9th graders are there these days that are nearly 300 lbs? This is crazy. We thought anyone approaching 200 lbs was huge in 9th grade.
