a Parker shot from the back row caught the tape, 14-13, and ...

a kill by Grey is blocked OOB by the Illini, and PSU wins Set 5 15-13, and the match, 3 sets to 2!

They also need to thank their lucky stars that Illinois didn't have any video challenges left, otherwise I think they lose it in four (the point that made it 25-24 PSU in the fourth was pretty questionable).

Service receptions have to get much better (I'm looking at you Keeton Holcomb). When in system, the middles, Hord and Gray were dominating. When out of system, blockers queued up on Parker. OH is rarely an option because Cathey is pretty much useless.

you wonder how many are last-second decisions by the PSU attacker to try to get a point by surprise, and how many are the result of poor sets that leave the attackers nothing but poor options.
