ASU vs VIRGINIA
149 -- #14 Josh Maruca (ASU) loses by FALL in P2 to Denton Spencer (VA)
157 -- #17 Jacori Teemer (ASU) loses 4-7 to J. McCoy (VA)
165 -- #6 Josh Shields (ASU) with dominating win and a P3 FALL
174 -- #10 Anthony Valencia (ASU) wins handily 8-1 over Marcelli but had to work for it
184 -- #1 Zahid Valencia (ASU) with a quick pin in 1:03
197 -- #8 Jay Aiello (VA) wins 6-3 over Belshay
HWT -- #2 Tanner Hall (ASU) with the a takedown in last ~10 seconds to win 3-1 over Quinn Miller. Hall looks slimmer than I remember.

ASU wins the dual 27-12

Based on these results I can’t see Tanner Hall providing much of a challenge to Cassar. Same with Anthony Valencia vs. Mark Hall.

PURDUE vs UTAH VALLEY
174 -- #9 Dylan Lydy (PUR) wins in SV-2 to #12 Kimball Bastian (UVU)

St Cloud climbed all over UPJ. They had a lot of enthusiastic fans (parents) in the house. There is some work to do in Johnstown although it always seems to get done. Not really sure if that lineup was UPJ’s best. Definitely a tough dual for them.

SCS took them to the woodshed. More impressively than Rutgers did ;) @matter7172

That's a bad weekend for Maruca.

ASU needs to fund a training and housing facility somewhere in the Mid-Atlantic region, given how often they compete on the East Coast during the season. All that travel has to absolutely suck.

White and a Lehigh kid both stalking the other by moving backwards had to make it difficult to accidentally fall into an offensive score.
A bit unfair. White with a leg attack and takedown 10 seconds into the bout, and others at 1:30, 1:45, 2:30, and 2:50 of the first. That's five solid attacks in a period from a guy with a reputation of not attacking much. While the 2nd was quiet, White spent most of the 3rd riding, and earning the RT point. Until the absolute end, the Lehigh guy made little effort to score. That's not the bout I would pick if one is going to criticize White.
