Thanks for taking the baton from JonZ. I'm tied up and can't watch, so it's great to see some real time updates
Why? Didn’t look like they blew a lead down the stretch did they?
What an absolutely gritty match by the young ladies. Set three they fell behind by six in the middle of the set, looked disjointed, and then sucked it up and won by 4 !!
Oh and by the way Minnesota won the first set and then lost the second 41-39!! Never recovered and lost the next two.
Wow. I live in town and there has been mega coverage about how the Gophers had a great path to the championship in Minneapolis.
Well they did. As one graphic showed the Minnesota team would travel 0 as in non miles from start to finish! THAT is a sweet setup!

Apparently Minny thought they had Set 2 won but a video review reversed the play and gave the point to Oregon. Minny proceeded to lose the set 39-41......got blown out in Set 3 and lost the match in Set 4 24-26.
Down goes the #2 seed.....at home. Finished at 27-4.....with 2 losses to #15 Oregon.

Man THAT has got to be super painful! You are home for the NCAA tournament from beginning to end and then lose a set 39-41 with a disputed call thrown in. And the call is a reversal! And then you lose it with a duce set. Agony.
