I will also be interested to see if the league takes any action on the heat player who stomped on Embiids lense on the court trying to break it and knock him out of the game. 1 camera caught it clear as day and I cant believe TNT didnt show it. Lense on the ground in the middle of the court and he just walks over to it and stomps on it with no one else around completely intentional

If you were a critic of The Process, you should probably delegate all decision making in your life. They probably shouldn't let you drive a car.

We’re not going to talk about the Process because we’ve talked too damn much about it these last three years. But this is what the Process gives you: a chance to draft great players.

Embiid is a game-changer, a franchise player around whom you attempt to build a contender. Simmons is the perfect counterpoint, a ballhandling big and passing savant who can guard just about everyone.

Either one would make a great starting point. Having both at this point in their careers is almost unfair. (Ergo one of the reasons so many have a problem with the Process, which we are not talking about.)

The Process also gave you Dario Saric, who is quite good, and Markelle Fultz who may be one day. This is not about them. It’s about Embiid and Simmons. The Sixers have two players in their early 20s who are already among the very best in the world. Mercy.

Who in the Philly front office is getting the credit as the architect of "the process?" He/she is going to be in demand really soon.

Sixers not playing well, a ton of turnovers, yet only down by 10. Still time to turn it around.

Had to change the channel to the blue white game before I threw my remote through the TV. Playing incredibly sloppy. So frustrating

This is one physical series. As bad as the Sixers are playing, only down 4 heading to the 4th. Let's Go!!

officials have completely lost control of this series. A double tech on one of the thugs or a ten minute run where they called every single foul that deserved to be called would have ended this crap early in the series.

Instead we are left with this. Miami will not stop this tactic because it benefits them even if the Sixers are forced to follow suit.

Doesn't matter because the Sixers are still winning the series. But I was enjoying the NBA until we got returned to the Pistons era.

Can we please get Embiid back in the game now. The difference in the access to the lane for the Heat is startling.

Hell of a gutsy win. Hope they win by 30 on Tuesday and close this team out. Let's go Bucks in the other series.

Interesting that Fultz hasn’t played in the game or most of the last. TJ has taken his minutes. Hopefully he can return in a blowout win on Tuesday although he’s been turnover prone too.

Nice win today. I hate to say it but I was glad Fultz didn't play today. His play has been horrible.

I think Brown's thoughts with Fultz are not to throw him in this series as its to Physical for him as Miami is playing a very rough game and the officials seem to let it go at times and he doesn't need to get banged up anymore and also he's probably just not ready at 19 for this type of play. If the sixers get in an open up and down kind of series I think Fultz will be back in the rotation

With all due respect to Joel Embid, Ben Simmons will be the best player of his generation.

Simmons will be the best player in the NBA in 3-4 years (or Durant). He is a more athletic Magic Johnson.. Simmons has more than a dash of LeBron too, but I think Ben is more like Magic than anyone else. His defense, ball handling, ability to create and just general feel for the game in unreal. He may never be a great jump shooter, but he will be average to slightly above at some point, and will be unstoppable.

Probably the thing I hate the most about the nba right now is the coverage of embiid and Simmons. The bottom line is that they are both great and that’s all we need to know. People that feel they need to compare the two are wrong. It’s blatantly clear that they’re going to play together for a really long time together.

538 now has the Sixers with the 2nd best odds in the NBA to win the title.

They've won 19 of the last 20!

Interesting that they are only giving GS a 17% chance to make the finals. I guess that is why the Sixers have better odds then GS to win it all.
Vegas odds now have them pushing (or ahead) of Toronto to win the East.

It's a fluid thing. Lose on Tuesday and that will drop.

You see Lebron played 46 minutes yesterday? LOL, this is the first round. You wonder what he will have in the tank if they make it to the ECF.

The 6ers have been extremely trendy this year. Do you think this is reflective of true probability or more so to mitigate all the risk they have from tickets they wrote earlier in the season?

Good question. They may have been trendy to bet on single games this season, but I don't think their futures betting got trendy until the big winning streak. They were 75 to 1 to win it all just a month ago (you can find my bet slip from 3/22 on this previous page of this thread). Now they are about 9 to 1. I think bookmakers are just reacting a lot of bets because bettors see that they have a great chance of making the finals now.

I think if the bookmakers are exposed to some huge futures bets, they will wait until the finals and adjust the series odds to compensate. I remember this happening to one casino when Auburn played FSU for the MNC. Some (or at least one) bettors had huge futures on Auburn, who was a long shot that year, and they covered themselves by taking lopsided money on FSU.

Damn. Good luck. I'm rooting for the Sixers to win it all, even though I took a beating fading them all season. :D

Give me PG-13 filling that Covington spot in a heartbeat...sign some other pieces for the bench and I’m good. I can do without Lebron

Meek Mill is officially free.

"Sixers co-owner said "it's more likely than not" Meek Mill will attend Game 5 tonight, and he'll ring the ceremonial bell pre-game if he can get there in time."
