A few months back Bankos said by July 1st hospitals will be down to 2 beds and 1 ventilator, and if anyone had different opinion they are wrong.

How is that prediction working out now? Maybe some hospitals are down to those numbers but most are not close to 2 beds and 1 ventilator.

    Great prediction.

Half of May and most of June the conservatives were slamming the democratic governors saying the stupidest crap like wearing masks and temporary closings businesses were taking. away freedoms.

Well how are the All American red states doing now? The Texas governor is back talking saying he made a mistake reopening so fast and now is playing damage control. Well at least he was humble enough to admit a mistake unlike Trump.

That's New York. Thanks for posting Gorki. Sharing ventilators..... Remember when Cuomo was crying daily for more ventilators after his health committee decided to share ventilators rather buying enough?

Gorki...you sound out of touch. Deaths are way down. Undoubedtly, testing of younger patients is creating this sudden surge. People that entered NYC hospitals with active Covid symptoms in April and no need for admission, were not tested.

MichNitLion has your answer. Top 4 states for deaths at this time. Total, not per capita.
Texas, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts.
E.g., for all the bluster and chatter about Florida and Arizona, those 3 states with the "great" Governors (LOL) are STILL ranking among the states with the MOST deaths!

NY, NJ and MA are all smaller population wise vs. Florida, of course. Making their higher absolute # of deaths even worse!

    It wasn’t my prediction, 1mm.

you do know it isn’t just red states having a problem? Why are you always just a jackass? What the fuuck is wrong with you?

which would you rather be - a person living in a nursing home in Florida or in New York?

A few months ago, experts were saying 2.2 million people were going to die.

Still waiting on you to tell us all about your wokeness, because you talked to a black guy once. How do your kids learn to interact with black kids in their lily-white schools?

Yes it was your prediction based off the models you saw. And when people like me doubted you, you said we were all wrong and we should read the model you linked.

You are the 1 mm for being so naive.

We have tested over 40 million. 3 million have had it. Currently 100k?200k? Have it?

Death rate in those states are not even close to top 6 dem states in deaths. With greater populations I might add!!

Perhaps people get it like the flu. But they do not die unless they are forced into bad situations like nursing homes, or have underlying conditions. etc.

The virus is a problem in all states. That is unavoidable. The difference is the blue states at least tried to take more precautions by not rushing to open things up. The red states did not take precaution like blue states. The economy is Trumps baby and republican governors wanted to appease him so they rushed things.

I don't care who the governor of NY is. A republican or democrat governor is still going to have a lot of cases. A place like NYC so densely populated it's unavoidable to stop the spread.

You could get defensive all you want. The republican governors threw caution to the wind, Trump was all for it tweeting things like (liberate Michigan) and it backfired on them.

You need to see a massive spike in death rates in red states in the next 2 weeks to maintain your levels of hysteria. Certainly not confirmed, but there’s a real potential the virus weakened in its recent mutation from D914 to G914. The death and hospitalization rates are orders of magnitude less than March, despite “record” positive cases.

Look I already said the virus will spread in all states. But there is no hysteria red states took less precaution than blue states. That is fact.

These stats and models have been proven to be way off. Bankos told everyone hospitals will be down to 2 beds and 1 ventilator by July 1st because of a model he saw, and also being very naive.

Obviously in certain states like NY where you have NYC there is much more dense population so the virus will spread more than in some larger more spread out states.

I made a simple statement. The red states did not take the same precaution as blue states. Even the Texas govenor admitted he was wrong.

No it isn’t fact that red states took less precautions than blue states. The FACTS are that red states were much more strategic and smart about how they planned to handle this virus in their states. It’s also a fact that red states have far less deaths than blue states and focused on protecting the most vulnerable citizens in their states rather than acting stupidly by killing people in nursing homes and like totalitarian dictators like blue state governors did. It’s also a fact that on reopening it was always true that the number of cases would and will continue to increase but must be constantly monitored and controlled. Therefore, adjustments to the “reopening plans” remain fluid as they try their best to control the outbreak of the virus. It remains to be seen right now just how successful they’ll be.

Additionally, the Texas Governor never admitted he was wrong about anything, is learning as things reopen and adjustments to the reopening plan evolve, and quite frankly won’t know how successful his plan was for quite some time. He certainly couldn’t predict that a bunch of irresponsible Democrat protesters, rioters, and enabling politicians would take to the streets in mass and throw social distancing caution to the wind and help contribute to a spike to the number of cases.

Obviously, the red states took more precautions early on and flattened the curve. Just look at the graphs.

"Well how are the All American red states doing now? " - 1mm

You are the one making this a political thing, dipshit. Not me.

And I don't give a rat's ass about the # of cases. Keep in mind that the numbers are being inflated by the count of people with antibodies too, so these numbers are way off from the truth. But # of cases is meaningless. So you can ignorantly scream from the rooftops about how many people are getting this disease, trusting the numbers we know are inflated, while I sit back and continue to watch the death rates fall.

You are such a sheep. How many deaths in NY have come from nursing homes that have everything to do with a democratic governor killing people with their policies and nothing to do with population density? You are such a sheep, vomiting the same CNN talking points when the reality is the total opposite. 1mm is what you are.

No, it wasn't my prediction. It was the prediction the government was making off the models they saw. It was the models Presidents Fauci and Birx were using to make their decisions.

And I don't give a shit if you doubted me. It wasn't me making them.

@Gorki26 - you just get your head beat in every time you post because you just vomit CNN talking points. Anyone with a shred of honor would come to the realization that they really suck at this and would want to do better. But that's not you. You don't have a shred of honor.
