This thread is a good example of why there shouldn't be tipping and restaurant owners should pay their workers whatever wages they deem necessary and leave the customers out of it.

Sure. If you want to pay 20 bucks for a burger or pancake and only chains will survive As fast casual. Casual dining will end forever. Just an FYI if you end tipping or raise everything to 15 bucks.

If they share 10% of their tips with the bussers, they keep 90% of their tips. I've never heard of a waiter or waitress who only only got 10% of the tips that were left for them

Of course bussers get tipped out from servers. Always have been tipped out. Bussers support servers so servers can upsell and turn tables over.
