    1. The goal is for them to be gone after their third year of eligibility. 3 years not 3.5, 2. Very possible with 3 summers and 5 semesters. Do the math.

    Expectations for 2019

    October won't be easy. Purdue (first real test of the year), at Iowa, Michigan and at Michigan State. I'd be shocked but thrilled if we come out of that even 3-1.

    Back then that wasn't the expectation. They weren't taking classes trying to graduate in three. Franklin stresses that and there's a reason for it. He wants the open scholarships as well as seeing kids graduate.

    No, but when I went to school 5 years was pretty much the norm. I graduated in 4 years (finance) without taking summer classes but if I was planning on playing in the NFL I absolutely would have tried to graduate in 3. Completely possible when you're on campus all summer.

    Reasonable isn't getting upset because I can honestly say Trace was awful for 3 quarters today. People had no problem bashing Hack when he had far less time to throw and far less talent around him. Right? We can be honest about Trace as well.

    First off, he was enrolled in the summer so he should be able to completed the course work. Second, if not he can do what Barkley did After your third eligible season you should be ready to move on. If don't you failed accomplishing what you were told to do.

    Why is that confusing? Franklin has stated repeatedly he wants kids to graduate in 3 years. That's what should be happening so they can enter the draft, transfer as a grad student or just walk away. Coaches don't want MOST kids sticking around for 4-5 years. It limits recruiting. Franklin...
