    Watching this film made me feel really old (maybe 'cause I am!). This was my senior year at Penn State - what great memories!

    COVID vaccine: who has had it?

    Got my second dose of Pfizer vaccine on February 2. Very mild soreness at injection site, minor body aches, and a little fatigue lasting 1 day. Piece of cake!

    We purchased our. Hutchinson island condo in 2015 and love it. Only problem is that our paradise is being "discovered" - every year we notice an increase in the population. But we love the informal, friendly, laid-back atmosphere. We are heading down after Christmas, and I can't wait😊

    Just started walking 3 miles a day. Need shoe advice.

    Agree with Brooks. I walk 4 miles a day (used to do 6) and have used Brooks for 20 years. Last few pairs have been Levitate (running shoe).

    I was on the Parkway East driving to a meeting in Pittsburgh when the first reports came on the radio. I remember looking at the cars around me, wondering if they were hearing the same thing - it just didn't seem real.

    AKB... How many hip replacements do we have?

    I need to have both hips replaced. First one is scheduled for Monday - waiting to see how that goes before scheduling the other. They would not do both at the same time, and I have to wait a minimum of 3 months for second one.

    List your all-time favorite banjo player and a video of him or her!

    In the early 1980's , we went to a music festival in Culpepper VA and John Hartford was one of the performers. That evening, after the performances were over, he joined our campfire and played his guitar and banjo and sang with us until the wee hours of the morning. One of my best memories !

    Worst car you ever owned?

    1981 (maybe 82) Dodge Omni. This was my first new car - and it was an absolute disaster - nothing worked on it. Traded it in for a used 1978 International Scout that we drove for 10 years, until it totally rusted out. Loved my Scout!

    We are in the middle of Season 8 of Homeland. Started with Season 1 a month ago. Great series - really made self-isolation a little more bearable.

    Where did your girl go to college?

    OK. My husband graduated from WVU - he became a Penn State fan when our daughter followed my footsteps to PSU. BTW - I haven't been a "girl" for a long time!
