Starting to see college football super league talk

Just burn it down already. I am not an Oregon State fan, but this is just ridiculous.

Starting to see college football super league talk

College football attendance has been meh for a while, which may be signs of cracks in the foundation. I think it picked up a bit the last two years, but still below its all-time high...

Starting to see college football super league talk

You don't like that a lot of people are getting turned off by NIL and are devoting their money and time elsewhere. I inferred from your statement that you think they are just all talk. I am saying that they are starting to vote with their feet, at least that is what they are telling me...

Starting to see college football super league talk

I don't think cfb is going away, but it is in for a rude awakening when the old-timers die off. Anecdotally, the younger generations just don't seem that into sports and I don't see them spending nearly as much money or time on sports as do the old timers.

Starting to see college football super league talk

I agree that some don't like change, but to claim 'they don't actually mean it' is incorrect. I know people who took less (or no trips) than they normally do because they are just losing patience with the whole NIL and Transfer Portal thing. Your missing a large swath of backlash from folks who...

Starting to see college football super league talk

There are a lot of people who disagree with you on this. I have spoken to many people who aren't happy with the rent-a-player system that we have now and they say it has diminished their interest somehwat.

I agree. I don't think the b10/sec will go for this. My main point is that more money doesn't improve my cfb viewing experience, it actually lessens it to some degree.

Starting to see college football super league talk

But what good does the additional money really do the average fan?? The game isn't really any more interesting than it was when there was less money in the 70s, 80s, 90s, etc. In fact, you could probably make the argument that CFB has become less interesting as power coalesced into a few elite...

Why is that too many teams? I never understood this argument. I would rather have more teams, not less.

Don't blame me, I'm just the messenger. Also, what is a 'Super Chief?'

Based on your posts, you seem like a shitty person to be around.

NFL is becoming a joke: New tackling rule implemented.

It's all a moot point. Football as we know it today, probably won't be around in 50 years. Players are getting too big and too fast. It's only a matter of time before there is another death on the field and the backlash to that won't be pretty.

    BTN embarrassing

Fencers have longer sabres. It's a t-shirt crying out to be made.

The SEC is having a great Tournament.

This is stretching a bit. Not living in B10 country, I can tell you my experience is that most people in my neck of the woods think the B10 is sucky, top-heavy conference with Mich and OSU as the only good teams. They see PSU as always getting blown out versus good teams, so not a lot of love...

I am. Your post reminds me of every college football fan on any given fall Saturday...the other team is holding every play and the refs won't call.
