    Weather

Its looking more and more likely the weather wont be bad at gametime. Looking like a slight drizzle is the most thats going to happen, and it wont be continuous. The field could be wet from condensation throughout the day but not necessarily raining.

Iowa is 10-8 under KF and won the last two...

Iowa's got some injuries on offense, doubtful they'll be able to keep up with PSU in this one. The spread is -14 for a reason. That isnt particularly close. Just like injuries to PSU helped Iowa to come back from a deficit and win in 2021, this year it looks like Iowa is the one with some depth...

Pitt’s very sophisticated offense is in full effect again tonight.

Thats what the Pitt fans on the lair think is happening right now. IE, jurkovich getting preferred treatment. How long it lasts I dont know but I doubt it goes on too much longer, He's been terrible.

Pitt’s very sophisticated offense is in full effect again tonight.

Narduzzi really misread Jurkovich's talent if he recruited him to be the starting QB. Supposedly Jurkovich even got a decent amount of Pitt NIL money. Looks like a costly miscalculation that could result in a losing season.

Miami U rent a stadium far from capacity today playing Texas A & M

Isnt the beaach there every day though. Football games are like 6 or 7 Saturdays a year. The sun could be a big deterrent. Florida sun is scorching and not healthy to sit in.

    ACC Expands

Well the ACC is still the stronger conference hence, Stanford willing to forego full pay for many years to play across the country there. ACC is still a desirable home for many of these schools. Just not FSU/ Clemson and UNC. (Who I think the B1G should have targeted in an earlier round, like...

    ACC Expands

Apparently, UNC is very upset that NCSU broke ranks and voted yes with the rest of the unwanted in the ACC. That was the deciding vote as UNC, Clemson and FSU still voted no.

Football Should Pitt / PSU bring back their series? Narduzzi chimed in.

If Pitt could have managed to win one or two extra games in the 4 game series that ended in 2019, this whole conversation and outlook could be completely different. It would have reignited the series, IMO. But PSU won the last 3 games, two of them decisively, with only the last one reasonably...

Football Should Pitt / PSU bring back their series? Narduzzi chimed in.

With Rutgers and UMD in the B1G, PSU has eastern rivalries now, so theres less of a reason to schedule Pitt. Add in the 9 conference games which means only one P5 matchup available. Its just unwanted to have a locked in, yearly OOC matchup in this era.

Just heard on Fox Sports radio that Stanford & Cal

There's nothing on twitter about B1G and FSU, Clemson. Thats usually where reporters post things so that they get cred for breaking the news.

Just heard on Fox Sports radio that Stanford & Cal

Probably all of them still would accept a B1G or SEC invite. So this amount of money doesn't change things at all in that area. Clemson isnt going to stay because an extra $72m is distributed, what is it, 15 ways now.

Just heard on Fox Sports radio that Stanford & Cal

This is back on for maybe SMU, Cal and Stanford. ESPN's decided they have some value. Two of the three expansion targets, Stanford, the bell-cow of the group, and Cal, are proposing to take a significantly reduced revenue distribution for multiple years, starting at about 30%. SMU is proposing...

BIG 10 hasn’t approached FSU per report

The ACC has enough name programs that they could survive even if they are the clear #3 conference. Schools like Clemson, Miami, FSU, UNC, VT etc. There are some historic programs there that just need the right coach to take off. They shouldnt be looking to be 7th fiddle in the SEC or B1G...

Just heard on Fox Sports radio that Stanford & Cal

Well im dreading the B1G offers them both an invite, since that was rumored before Oregon and UW additions. I guess the Mountain West is another option. They dont have any other options unless reconfigure the PAC with Mountain West schools.

Just heard on Fox Sports radio that Stanford & Cal

Apparently, the ACC decided not to vote on Cal and Stanford joining the conference at this time. You need a vote for it to happen, so maybe the Big 12 will let them join.

Rumor Swirling That Big Ten Will Be Adding 4 New Schools This Week

What are the odds Stanford and Cal are still in play for a B1G invite. It seems like there could be a long game here while the B1G works out the financials of adding 6 PAC 12 schools.

Rumor Swirling That Big Ten Will Be Adding 4 New Schools This Week

Maybe the money is there but I dont understand the allure of adding more PAC 12 schools. Wasnt this already a failed conference to begin with? Why would the B1G want 6 of its schools when the conference already proved not to be equal to any other conference financially ? Just seems like the...

    Narduzzi quote in the Post-Gazette.

Duzz wont be able to help himself all year taking shots whenever Christian Veilleux has a decent game. You can just tell how psyched Duzz was to get a PSU transfer.

How would you feel about Pitt to the Big Ten?

If Pitt wasnt considered when the B1G added Rutgers, im not sure why they would be considered now. There were not any solid rumors that they were under any serious consideration. Just kind of a whose available discussion that probably ended shortly after. If the recruiting grounds in Western PA...
