    I think the continual turmoil involving the offensive coaching staff has something to do with this. Maybe that’s why so many of our players, especially OL’s, don’t seem to develop. Three different OC’s in three years is also never a good thing.

    Maybe playing musical chairs with OC’s and QB coaches has had a negative effect on QB development and roster stability. Crazy idea, I realize.

    Franklin did a huge disservice to Clifford, the team, and the fans.

    When you have an offense that can’t make 3rd and 2 because your QB is injured and your OL and TE’s haven’ t blocked all season, expect a worn down defense by the second half every game.

    The reality is that we do not have a backup QB in 2021 who can play. This also means that unless we can get one or two from the portal this off-season, we will likely be forced to play a true freshman next year. That’s a pretty big failure any way you look at it for PSU and Franklin.

    The following are 4 stars : 2021 - Tengwall, 2020 - Christ, Fashanu, Achumba 2019 - Whigan ( has played some ). There are three stars that had good offers like Dawkins and Traore. I don’t believe for one minute PSU would have swapped OL recruits with Illinois during that time.
