    Men's Lax Loses in OT

    Goal should obviously not have counted but the face-offs killed them much like they did against Yale several years ago. They never touched the ball in OT. I didn’t see the whole game but during the parts I watched Duke seemed to win like 80% of the face-offs. Not sure what the final stats were.

    I would think a USC loss next week could possibly knock it off track. Does OSU get in if USC loses?

    USC will be ranked 4th and OSU 5th. If USC loses then OSU would probably be in and then Penn St would go to the Rose Bowl. We are probably going Cotton Bowl vs Tulane if USC wins next week.

    This should surprise exactly no one. SEC teams will always get the benefit of the doubt based on past playoff performance. Honestly I’m surprised they didn’t have Tenn and Georgia 1, 2.

    I’d love to believe the OP but do kids even care about that stuff these days? This is the “Me” generation and honestly, I don’t know what motivates a lot of these kids…they’ve grown up in a world where “everyone gets a trophy”.
