    One thing that was very reliable about Cook. Whenever he penned an article about how Pitt's football program had passed PSU the next two seasons would prove how that wasn't true. It happened in 2016, and it happened again in 2021 after Pitt won the ACC Championship.

    Great point! And even Michigan is not totally apples-to-apples because of Ann Arbor's proximity to the Detroit MSA and the commercial opportunities there. PSU's closest "major" city is Harrisburg.

    If your primary asset is a big arm and you are not much of a runner then a pro style attack is required to take advantage of the arm.
