Still waiting for the press conference where Sabin says "It all starts with 'I love you' and ends with 'I love you'."
This is B1G football, not the Lingerie Bowl. (I know, throw the flag for no pic).
This is no different than deciding a hockey game on a shootout or a soccer game on PK's. The format needs to be tweaked but who really wants to kiss their sister after a 4 hour battle?
Been thinking about the subject of this thread. At some point, a coach has to protect a player from himself. Any of us who has been a part of coaching at any level knows that the super-competitive kids on a team ALWAYS say they're OK... ALWAYS want to go back in... ALWAYS just want to rub some...
Until the Paterno dark years, there was a stat that every kid who played for him either went undefeated or played for a Natty. For like 30 years. That's a pretty good championship caliber run, no?
I liked the little roll out Roberson did to avoid the safety... Showed his athleticism. But then after avoiding the sack/safety missed the wide open outlet receiver... Showed his inexperience.
I was looking at the stats so far this year, and I think Cliff has been sacked something like 5 times in 6 games. Now some of that might be his experience in not taking sacks, but some of it may be the OL actually knows how to pass block. Probably a combo of the two.
Point being, even if Cliff...
Does anyone know if HIPAA even applies to college football? The students are not employees.
If my buddy mentions that he's got broken ribs I can tell anyone I'd like to tell about it. If my employee mentions that he's got broken ribs I have to STFU.
For the sake of HIPAA are student athletes...
Was that the play where he got drilled pretty hard in the ribs right at the sideline? Or a different play? I remember thinking "what a tough dude" when he got drilled and jogged right back to the huddle like nothing happened.
Please. This was not a Gabby Douglas moment. He didn't have the spins/yips/etc and was stepping aside to let someone more capable compete like she did.
