    YouTube Tv

Unfortunately, Sling TV does not offer the Big Ten Network as an option. I usually am able to find a friend or watch a Penn State football game at my club.

OT: Fred Astaire golf dance [video]

I have tried teeing up five balls and hitting them like Fred did at the end of the clip. A golf pro recommended doing that as a way to stay loose in the swing. It's not as easy as it looks!

Funny/Interesting article on Breezewood from Selina Zito

Breezewood represents the inability and/or corruption in Pennsylvania local or state government to work for the common weal. When the interstate highway system was built, is it a wonder that Pennsylvania has three such connections that were never built, as evidenced at the PA Turnpike...

RIP: The man who "took" JVP's job at Yale

Great line toward the end of the article in which Cozza, after losing a game with Connecticut received a telegram from the Alumni Association: "There's a train leaving for New York at 4 o'clock. Be under it."

OT: A senior student's "Gap year"

My 25 year old daughter went right to living and working in NYC. Now she has started to travel for leisure and is in the middle of 15 days in New Zealand. She has spelunked, kayaked, and sky dived. Today she is Heli-hiking on a glacier and still later going bungee jumping off the original bridge...

Please take this opportunity to remember that michigan lost their bowl game.

At halftime against South Carolina, I noticed that Michigan was averaging 3.0 yards per catch. That's positively anemic.

State breakdown for the 21 Penn State commits signed thus far for 2018

Texas and Florida are the two fastest growing states, and as many people from the northeast relocate to them, they bring their Penn State loyalties with them. Their kids are growing up hearing stories about PSU and family back in the northeast make going to school there more attractive.

    Way OT:Socks

My 25 year old son gave me a couple pair of Happy Socks a few years ago and told me my collection of black socks was too old school. As a 67 year old, I was hesitant at first but now love them. I am no longer forced to wear a calf-length black sock with an ankle length one as each pair is...

OT: Rider University (NJ) bankruptcy? Is this a thing?

Tuition, room and board when I started in 1968 was approximately $1100 for the year. That is roughly equivalent to $7850 in 2017. That leaves a huge gap between what kids pay today and what we paid then. Unfathomable.

    Rathskeller set to close

Bars and restaurants tend to come and go, but in the case of the Rathskeller, it's almost historic, in that it is the oldest continuously operating bar in the state. And my guess is that some other owner willing to pay the lease rates will be able to keep it open. Of course they will have to...
