    Officiating across many sports seems to be getting worse, even though most sports have now implemented some type of review/replay system. Quality officiating also seems to be inversely proportional to the number of ways you can now bet on a sporting event......coincidence?

The solution, IMO, is to either sell single game tix where you can get no more than 2 or 3 games, or offer a variety of 2- or 3-game plans such that there are 20,000 student tix sold...

    Remote location is less a factor than Penn State's greed, IMO. I just looked at single game ticket prices for the next BJC game, 2/24 vs. Indiana: Lower level seats are $70 + fees = $87.30 Upper level seats are $28 + fees = $38.45

    I don't think it has anything to do with ESPN, but more with the perception that the SEC is the best in cfb.....probably because an SEC team has won most of the recent ones and many fans seem to believe it. Those dumbasses might have restarted the Civil War if an SEC team was left out.

    I get that a decent MAC team is going to get lucky once in a while, but I don't think that applies to UMass or Delaware, which is all that I mentioned. But still, you know what you're getting even with a MAC team.
