    I view this all as a clear win-win from a Penn State fan perspective. Taylor can get some solid on the job head coaching experience, rack up a long string of second-place team finishes, and return to be the head coach at Penn State in 12 to 15 years when Cael retires. How can anyone dislike that?

    This may have already been mentioned, but who knew the far-reaching repercussions of Brooks beating Taylor? if Taylor wins that, he very likely doesn’t take this position now. Wild. Happy for David, makes things more interesting in the college wrestling landscape.

    All just speculation, but what would be the purpose of a Haines redshirt at this point apart from lineup Tetris? Doesn’t seem like Cael’s style. I think he’d let Levi choose his course of action and go from there.
