Most likely hypothetical 5 timers

… I was originally enamored with the idea of the one and only 5xer ever. Now it seems more of just a covid asterisk oddity. …
I agree. Being a 5 timer is probably not so impressive, to people with high standards, such as Carter and the other 4 timers, because the other 4 timers did not have an opportunity at a 5th.

That makes me wonder. Which 4 timer(s) would have been least likely to win a 5th, if given a chance. Logan, right? How would we rank them by likelihood?

Who or what inspires you?

When I was younger, I might have rattled off a sports figure and there are some who are pretty impressive. But these days I tend to draw inspiration from those around me in my everyday life more often. I'll give some examples below.

1) My parents. I never realized what amazing people they were until later in life.
2) My one uncle who fought at Normandy and ran a business after he returned.
3) Another uncle who wrestled Dan Gable in college and became a forensic scientist. He's still extremely strong in his mid-70s.
4) My wife who still runs half and occasionally full marathons and remains at her HS weight. I can't keep up with her on endurance and I wish I was even at my undergrad weight.
5) A girl with which I went to HS that was overweight back then and became a nutritionist and while isn't at ideal weight, is at a much healthier weight.
6) Older people in the gym. These people are super impressive and often outdoing the younger crowd. They are usually just so consistent.
7) Every warrior that I see at a store walking around with his Vietnam or other veteran hat. I always thank them for their service.
8) The wife of one of my old friends who is very inspirational and thankful in the caring bridge posts where she conveys my buddy's struggle with terminal brain cancer and her one son's continued fight with heart issues (since he was born, and he wasn't supposed to make it to be a teenager). Not sure how she does it.

There are others of course and maybe some will appear more impressive. But I think those around us are often best from which to draw inspiration because you know and feel their stories. It's just so impactful when you can be connected to someone with great strength, vision, drive, etc. How can you not be motivated to better yourself by that or to help others?
