That one regarding OSU demonstrates the fallacy of this year's playoff selection process. Hilarious.
The difference is that the replacement for Kyle McCord, Devin Brown, was just barely beat out by McCord and can almost certainly play at a very respectable level.
No. First start in real game. Can't expect him to light it up anymore than you could expect CJ Stroud to light it up his first start.
Until he has to make actual plays on the field. OSU has had some great qbs and amazing line/weapons...but like we found w Drew...making the plays matters.
The PI on Harrison that negated Jacobs return TD didn't change the fact that McCord shit the bed on the play. Unfortunately for us it didn't count.
