some highlights/lowlights:

at 57 kg:

Nico takes on S. Mannini (Italy) in R1. The winner of that bout faces the winner of the R1 match between Blanc and F. Perrelli (both of the USA). Seems a long way to travel to have 2 Americans face off in R1, and the winner to likely face another American.

a6 65 kg:

most competitors, including Tank, have byes until R2. In that round Tank will face L. Seung-Bong (Korea).

at 74 kg:
most competitors have byes in R1. DT will face R. Mota (Spain) in R2, while Mark Hall will face A. Martinez (Spain) in R2.

There are other Americans wrestling, but I highlighted those of interest to most PSU fans.

I was just thinking that. I would hope DT can tech a guy that's 5-6 years younger.

DT and Hall will both have to advance to finals for that to happen. Valencia vs. DT could happen in the semi's, we shall see as they have all advanced through to the qtrs.

Mark Hall was pinned. DT was winning 8-1 when camera was covered, I know DT won!

looks like he lost on his comeback... close match - not sure if it was the Korean who may have beat him the first time. DT and Frank looked good. Gwiz (NC st) had a fun match to win heavy. Believe Green won as well.
