Scotty Stossel, Freshman 125-pounder who placed 3rd at the 2015 NCWA Nationals with a 20-1 record, has been added to the Penn State Wrestling Team.
Scotty was a great teammate and friend to have in the room, and has plenty of room left for improvement. He placed 4th at WPIALs his senior year as a 120-pounder for North Allegheny, never making states, and returned to competition with the Club team this year and dominated all competition until the quarterfinals of nationals, losing a decision (and then beating the same wrestler the next day for 3rd place). He's a fierce competitor and a great person to be around off the mats as well. We're excited to see how he develops on the NCAA squad these next coming years. Congratulations, Scotty!
