Nervous about projecting his ceiling when he hasn't wrestled folk for 2.5 years at this point. That being said, Cassar was in a similar boat and was able to work his way back eventually to beating Kollin Moore.

If he can stay healthy I absolutely think he can AA. 125 isn’t a great weight this year and talent wise he’s right near the top. I so hope he stays healthy. The kid deserves a year where he can just let it rip

If we guessed purely on talent, 3rd after Ramos and Figueroa. Health and college match experience are the questions.

If his draw avoids those 2 until the quarters, he'll have a good shot at medaling. (It would also mean fewer consi matches, thus less wear and tear.)

Also hopefully he avoids McKee sinking a full nelson.

The Intermat rankings reveal some strange possibilities. If we treat bonus points as being somewhat closely linked to match points, Iowa must somehow create 15 more points to have any chance of finishing on the podium, If they under perform by just 5.5 points, they drop out of the top ten.

The conservative projections make Penn State look like Snow White with Iowa being the seventh dwarf.

We are so far ahead that if you treat the team scoring by letting the next 3 teams, Missouri, Virginia Tech and Cornell, combine their best scores at each weight class, Penn State still finishes 1st. The other 3 top teams only have 1 or2 top wrestlers and then they start to cancel each other out. Cornell's 62.5 points shrink the least, maybe 12-18 points. Missouri's 65 points by 21-27 points. VT's 65 points lose at least 22-28 points. 192.5 points drop to 137.5 or less. Penn State still wins.🥇 The twin dwarves go back to the drawing board.
