Russ Taylor who runs his foundation was arrested in May. Jared actually works out of his house, and the computers are just building continued evidence against Russ. But they are not at his house for personal reasons, he keeps a big "home" office, has many computers, etc.

I'm pretty sure Jared has nothing to do with this.

Honestly I'm home sick today and have been watching the national news channels all day and they're not giving this any kind of coverage.

The only people who are being fed the media line are the ones who are scouring the Internet looking for anything.

Regardless, when the FBI shows up at your house with an entourage and a semi truck, it's never good regardless of who they're looking at.

i think the thread on this board about Jared is more TIC than anything. Most of us are up to speed on how this stuff works.

So a lot of the foundation records and correspondence are there, tons of records. The press should mention they are raiding his office instead of house, but are technically correct I guess.

I do think the FBI might have been able to handle it better, or more quietly, again, hoping he is innocent. He is a quirky guy and very self-deprecating which is funny, but has a big heart when it comes the foundation and the children it serves.

Not that I'm saying Jared is him since we know nothing right now, but isn't "quirky guy that has a big heart when it comes to his foundation and the children it serves" basically how JS was described pre-Nov 2011.

I knew nothing about this, until today.

If Russ was arrested in April/May, why wait until July 7th to seize more computers? If the computers are part of the Foundation he runs? That just seems odd. Especially since Russ was arrested for child porn.

Nothing I read about this today has accused Jared of any crime. That's why this is a shame, because there are countless people out there who will read nothing but the headline and decide that this guys is predator who is guilty of a crime. Even if this hasn't garnered the attention we might think would be damaging, this is going to be devastating to his life based on the reality that people don't care about facts, only headlines and assumptions.

Have you ever been around him when he was eating and if so was he eating Subway?

If you think about it it's pretty interesting...this was a overweight guy in college that decided to try a new way to lose weight and it literally became his entire career and made him nationally famous, perhaps for the rest of his life.

Yes, it's like winning the lottery, until today. And yes, I have eaten with him and several other people associated with it, last time was Fogo de Chao in Indianapolis, we put a hurting on that place!!! His weight has been like a roller coaster over the years, never back to 500 lbs, but up and down.

So you've eaten with him but he wasn't eating Subway. I was wondering how often he eats it these days. I mean, for the sake of keeping that job, in addition to keeping his weight from getting too high he probably has to eat Subway now and then, especially at public events.

I met him at the '09 Ohio State game. Seemed to have a fair amount of personal discipline, as he was heckled pretty constantly.

I'll be honest, I don't think he ever eats it now, accept when promoting, he does a ton of franchise visits around the country, and appears at Subway events catered by......Subway. But on his own, never.
