"B" Game. Still, good enough to win 33-14.

The good news is we did not play our A game and we still won this game 33-14. The sign of a Championship team. With that said a LOT of things to clean up and we need to find a better downfield passing game and more touches for Saquon.

Only second game of the season....vanilla offense...saving it for UM and OSU. (Hey, it works for Pitters).

the wrs did a hell of a job with thier blocking, kudos to them.

Wasn't our best game. But teams that want to be considered for title should bring their A game every week.

Pitt seemed content to continue having 8+ play, 70 yard, 5:00+ drives with no luck in the red zone until their QB lost his helmet and who should be their QB going forward came in.

If keeping the loss below a 20 point differential was their goal... sure, they succeeded. They were literally out of the game once we went up 14-0. We could have ran Barkley on sweeps all day long. McSorley could have gotten positive yards on the draw every down. The down field passing was available; McSorley just started off poor.

I want to see Stevens under center if he's going to come in. He's a better runner than Trace. Get him running the zone.

Did not notice much rpo plays today.

Duzz doing the same thing (7 points less than last week). Look out Okie State! You're going to see plays ran next week that you didn't even know were possible.

McSorley was off quite a bit with passing accuracy, just like last week at times. He needs to clean that up. He appears to be pressing at times. I don't know if the accolades he has received have gone to his head in the sense he feels more pressure to perform compared to last year when he probably felt more footloose and fancy free since he was more of an unknown. Barkley continues to impress, however.

D line had their problems, although Pitt was holding in a major way. At times I thought there was a heavyweight wrestling match going on. O line also had problems, although this game was more of a test than last week I think because of talent level and schemes run by the Pitt D.

Pitt outplayed Penn State, but it was still a victory. Everyone should shut up, move on and be happy PSU is 2-0.

In what universe did Pitt outplay Penn State? 33-14 is not outplaying anyone.

These teams could play 10 times and Pitt wouldn't win 1. McSorely's worst performance in a year and PSU still won 33-14.

Think the Defense was more A- given how much they were on the field and only giving up one TD. Trace and the OL get a C+, though.....credit Pitt for playing well and having a good gameplan on D for them, but the first half, we just had problems settling in and making pretty routine plays.

Good news for us is that that sub par effort with our talent is still good enough to win pretty handily and probably gets us by 7 games on our schedule. Good to have wins to build lessons off of instead of losses.

Too many missed tackles or those that gained more yards after contact. Not enough pressure on QB but they did make plays when needed, most of game. No solution to shuffle pass was a bit disheartening. Apke and Farmer with some whiffs but Def will continue to improve.
