In her 39-page ruling issued Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan, an appointee of Democratic former President Barack Obama, wrote that "The (executive) privilege is not absolute. It exists for the benefit of the Republic, not any individual."

"Accordingly," she continued, 'the presumption can be overcome by an appropriate showing of public need by the judicial or legislative branch."

Referring to Trump, Chutkan wrote, "Plaintiff does not acknowledge the deference owed to the incumbent President's judgment. His position that he may override the express will of the executive branch appears to be premised on the notion that his executive power 'exists in perpetuity.' But Presidents are not kings, and Plaintiff is not President."

What's good for the goose is good for the gander, right? I swear you democrats are so short-sighted. Obama not only knew about the Trump surveillance but he asked for an update five months into it! The operative words here are "the FBI under the Obama Administration launched and investigation." The buck stops at the top, right?

In summary, while the FBI under the Obama administration launched an investigation into contacts between Trump’s associates and Russian operatives before the 2016 election — an examination that included a secret mission to monitor Page, one of Trump’s allies at the time — no court filings, interview transcripts or other federal records showed the former president directed agents to secretly monitor the Trump campaign. For those reasons, we rate this claim “mostly false.”

Then too, Comey claims he told Obama one month into the investigation's launch but didn't mention any specific names who was being surveilled. So we are to believe the nominee of the major opposition party was spied upon without Obama knowing the details?! Obama isn't that incompetent. He must've authorized it. This is nothing more than a legacy media smokescreen covering for Obama at the behest of fellow democrats. And Ben Rhodes is right insomuch as 'no president can order a wiretap'. He doesn't. He requests a wiretap. Rhodes chose his words carefully.

This guy nails the legacy media's complicity in the coverup...

The Wall Street Journal s assistant opinion editor, James Freeman, made a number of observations.

Not the least of those was that the liberal mainstream media seems far more interested in dissecting and attempting to discredit the president's description of the surveillance than in how the surveillance was authorized. And, so, he asks the question many Americans still want answered: Did President Obama know about it?

So that the Mueller probe was nothing more than a snipe hunt used to perpetuate the lie for another 18 months. They weren't going to find collusion because there wasn't any. Bottom line, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Obama isn't a king, either. So when DeSantis-Nome win in 2024 let's revoke Obama's executive privilege. Biden's, too. Let's turn this mother out! Fīat jūstitia ruat cælum!

Thank you.
