2023 All-Americans By Graduating Class & Big Board Position - FloWrestling

A deep-dive into the age of this year's NCAA All-Americans and how good they were coming out of high school.

Really interesting looking at the big board rankings of the AA’s this year. At 125 4 of the 8 all-americans were not on the big board at all (Ramos, Noto, Cronin, and Cardinale) and the other 4 were ranked 17 (Glory in 2018), 76 (Courtney in 2017), 2 (Spencer in 2017), and 68 (Ventresca in 2020). The only other weight with more than one AA who was not on the big board was 197 with 3 (Sloan, Truax, and Laird). Only 2 number 1 ranked guys on the big board AA’ed and neither was a national champion (Fix was #1 in 2017 and Kerk was #1 in 2019).

A look at the big boards from 2016 to 2022. 2017 is an incredible class. Those top 4 are tough to beat. 2019 and 2020 have some strange ones in the top 10.
